There are the classic parks with a children’s area, libraries for the little ones, toy stores to visit and many other things. That’s why we have made a selection of the cutest activities to do together with your daughter or son. Which one do you choose?
Luneur
Luneur Park is the oldest amusement park in Rome and one of the most historic in Italy, opened in 1953. It is located in the Eur district, in the southwest part of the city. Luneur was born as a theme park dedicated to fun for families and children, with attractions designed for the youngest, but over the years it has been able to renew itself by expanding its offer and becoming a reference point for quality entertainment in the Capital.
Luneur Park, depending on the time of year, also organizes events, educational workshops and seasonal activities that involve children and parents in playful and cultural experiences, promoting play as a fundamental tool for growth and learning.

Zero Gravity
Zero-Gravity Rome is one of the most popular trampoline parks in the Capital, located right next to the Domus Shopping Center in the Tor Vergata area. It offers large areas with trampolines, acrobatic courses, free jumping areas, dodgeball, trampoline basketball and children’s play areas. The facility is modern, accessible, family-friendly and suitable for both free activities and birthday parties, corporate events or sports training. Distinguished by a safe and controlled environment, it is the ideal place to have fun jumping, training and adrenaline experiences suitable for young and old alike.
Children’s House Library
In the Cinecittà Est neighborhood we find this library for children and adolescents opened in 2002 and renovated in 2022. The environment is large, a good 290 square meters, and contains about 16,000 documents inside. The nice thing about the Children’s House is that you find an area aimed at parents, teachers, and students in the children’s sector. Then, in one room, workshops or art activities are held for children and parents. Meetings dedicated to the Born to Read Program or aimed at expectant and new parents are hosted in the library on a regular basis.
It is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located at 153 Libero Leonardi St. Summer closure 11/08/2025 – 22/08/2025.
Diddodò – Microlibrary for young readers
In the Nomentano neighborhood we find this bookstore entirely dedicated to children, with an inclusive environment and attentive to the needs of every family, with delivery services and dedicated initiatives. A magical place.

Children’s Cinema.
After its summer closure, the special Cinema dei piccoli, considered the smallest cinema in the world, has reopened in Rome. Cartoons and art films are shown in this facility in the Villa Borghese park. A must-see experience for the little ones.

Little chefs in the kitchen at Eataly
For a fun afternoon of delicious culinary experiments, Eataly is offering cooking classes for little ones. At the Rome Ostiense location, your little ones can prepare delicious recipes in the company of other young chefs or with their families. For those who want to add an extra touch to the experience, children’s classes in English are available.

A gelato at the Palazzo del Freddo

Candlelight Rome – a magical concert
For children who are already a little older, this evening could be a magical way for younger children to discover the world of music. An exciting show, where the audience will be enveloped by the glow of thousands of candles. The atmosphere, will make your children’s eyes sparkle and bring them closer to classical music through famous artists such as Taylor Swift or I Coldplay. “Ballet of Lights: Peter Pan in a brilliant show.”
This is an innovative show that reinvents J.M. Barrie’s classic through a fascinating combination of dance, light and color. Six dancers in illuminated costumes bring the story of Peter, Wendy and Tinker Bell to the stage, guiding the audience to Neverland with spectacular choreography and light trails that transform every movement into a stunning visual experience.
The show is held at Teatro Ghione in Rome (Via delle Fornaci, 37), lasts about 60 minutes and is for audiences of all ages (ages 5 and up; minors must be accompanied).
Vigamus – the video game museum
Vigamus is the first interactive videogames museum in Italy and in Rome. It allows you to discover the history of video games… You will find interactive arenas with mythical games, such as Metal Slug, an area where you can try virtual reality, a book shop and collections of unique pieces. The full ticket costs 8 euros, reduced 5 euros. It is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is located in the XV Della Vittoria District, 4 Sabotino Street.
