Pizza lovers, here is a place we recommend in the Tuscolano neighborhood, near Caffarella Park. This is a modern pizzeria, specializing in gluten-free cuisine and known for the quality of its Roman pizzas.
It is particularly popular both for its gluten-free options (it has a separate kitchen to avoid contamination) and for its traditional pizzas, which use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The specialty pizzas are worth trying. On the menu we find parmigiana 2.0 with fried eggplant, lime, amatriciana, cotto, pizza and mortadella, and many others. The cost of pizza ranges from 7.50 euros to 14 euros, depending on the ingredients in it.
The fried foods are also worth trying: classic supplì and n’duja, pumpkin flower, cod fillet, mortadella croquette, stracciatella and pistachio.
But not only pizzeria, Il Punto also offers traditional first courses, burgers and meat main courses; for those on a diet, there are salads, crispy chicken or codfish.
Let’s get to the sweeter side: desserts are homemade, such as ricotta and sour cherry tart and peanut butter parfait with dark chocolate and caramel sauce.
Where: 30 Lidia Street. Closed Mondays. To make reservations: 327 174 7986.
