It’s true: paella like in Valencia nowhere. But even in the capital you can find restaurants that transport you directly to the Spanish port city through tasty dishes.
Paella is a traditional Valencian Community dish made with rice, chicken, rabbit, beans, and green beans piattoni(bajoqueta). Later, this dish spread throughout Spain and the rest of the world. Others have been added to the classic version, such as seafood or mixed.
Let’s see where we can eat good paella in Rome.
1. Jerò
We have already talked about Jerò Restaurant in the article on the dinners with music in Rome. This venue is hip and cozy. It offers evenings of entertainment featuring music, dance and Spanish cuisine. In fact, on the menu we find traditional Iberian dishes such as pan y tomate and the famous paella: seafood, red shrimp, lobster, chicken, and vegetable garden. Prices start from 30 to 56 euros, depending on the paella chosen.
