With the heat here in the capital in the summer, the urge to take a dip in the swimming pool or to the sea is getting stronger and stronger. But what if instead of the usual waterhole where you can find refreshment, you didn’t go to one of the water parks near Rome? To combine relaxation and fun, shelter from mugginess and carefreeness. There are some very nice water parks around Rome, suitable for all ages. Let’s go and find out some of them:
Aqua World
Among the water parks in Rome, it is fitting to mention Aqua World, the amusement park inside Cinecittà World. A still-evolving facility that will be final perhaps in a few seasons but that already this summer 2023 offers everything to its visitors. Here you’ll find plenty to do: from Cinepiscina, Italy’s first movie pool, to Paradiso, the 300m-long “lazy river” where you can be lulled by the gentle current on soft rafts in total relaxation.
Plus deckchairs, sunbeds and many attractions where you can relax and have great fun. Tickets available for purchase online. 27 euros an adult and 22 an children up to 140cm tall (online prices, at the checkout in the facility are worth two euros more). Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays until 4 a.m.

Zoomarine
Not only does it fall among Rome’s water parks, Zoomarine is also a zoo, dolphinarium, 4D cinema, rides and attractions, cartoon characters and more for a unique set of experiences. Ideal for the whole family, you will experience extraordinary moments with performances, music, shows and lots of diving.
Tickets more advantageous if purchased online. About 25 euros the adult. 20-22 the smallest up to 130 cm in height. The park is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm.

Miami Beach
Miami Beach is the water park located in Borgo Piave in Latina. Among the most fun water parks near Rome, open since 1994. Over time, it has always improved its image by offering different attractions. “Jumping,” “bullfighter,” or “magic Rainbow” are just some of the park’s offerings in addition to big slides, pools for little ones, ristobars to satisfy the appetite when it comes, and then games, tournaments, and shows. For a fun vacation, you don’t need to go too far.
Prices change if you choose full, afternoon, midweek or holiday tickets. But you can safely consult them here. Online purchaserecommended. Open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Aquafelix
Outside Rome, in Civitavecchia we find Aquafelix. A historic amusement park about an hour from the Capital with some of the largest attractions in Italy such as Aspides, Italy’s largest cone for sliding in pairs, and Mozzafiatum, two parallel slides with bumps and breathtaking inclines for crazy fun. There is certainly no shortage of pools to relax in, dinghy-navigable streams and whirlpools, as well as plenty of greenery to find shelter from the sun. Aquafelix then organizes so many events for young and old alike. Around 13-16 euros is the daily ticket, 1 euro is the reduced price for children up to 130cm tall, below this height admission is free. See prices here and purchase the ticket. We are again in Latina, one of the water parks outside Rome not to be missed. Not overly large, however, it offers plenty of fun and relaxation for all. From the most challenging slide to the children’s pool to the most creative and fun water games as well as lots of entertainment for young and old. If you are hungry, the bar has a wide selection of food and drinks to meet the needs of all tastes. In short, a perfect park where you can spend a super day! Price 10.50 euros.
