If you’re a nature lover, here’s an outdoor space that comes back to enliven the Roman summer. Parco Laurentino is a summer area surrounded by greenery in Trigoria, reopened in 2025 after a major reclamation and redevelopment project that transformed abandoned land into an urban social area returned to the community. Located just minutes from Eur, the park covers more than 5,000 square meters and offers indoor parking, making it an oasis of relaxation, fun and authentic flavors suitable for young people and families alike.
The green heart of the park is the 2,000-square-meter organic botanical garden, which provides vegetables for the kitchen and hosts educational activities for the youngest children, supervised by specialized operators in complete safety.
What it offers
Parco Laurentino is divided into three main areas: the family park, a 1,000-square-meter play and sports space dedicated to children; the garden, ideal for sipping a craft beer or a glass of natural wine; and the restaurant area, specializing in Roman pizza and barbecued dishes.
What to eat
The kitchen, led by chef Matteo Militello, offers Roman pizza rolled out on a rolling pin, with long-leavened dough and selected ingredients, including vegetables from the organic garden. The menu also includes bruschetta, supplì, crocchette, cod fillet, platters of artisanal cured meats and cheeses, Abruzzo arrosticini, Pugliese bombette, pork capocollo, beef tagliata, and homemade desserts such as gelato, cheesecake, and tiramisu.
Opening Hours.
Parco Laurentino is open in the afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 00:00 a.m. (closed Mondays) at 60 Via di Trigoria. An ideal place to experience summer among nature, good food and conviviality, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
