Inside the A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel, in the vicinity of Vatican City, is the Livia Wellness & SPA. This Roman place dedicated to wellness covers an area of 3,000 square meters and was created drawing inspiration from the ancient cult of the Roman Baths.
It is ideal for escaping the chaos of the city and regaining psychophysical balance, inner harmony and remise-en-forme.
The center’s two pools
The facility includes a fitness center with Technogym equipment and two swimming pools: a 300-square-meter outdoor pool with a sloping bottom and a 50-square-meter indoor pool with hydrosaline water heated to 32°-34°, enriched with trace elements similar to those in thermal waters. There are loungers on which to relax, perhaps with herbal tea or aromatic waters.
What services are offered
Wellness services include nebulized sensory showers with eucalyptus, which promote muscle relaxation through aromatherapy, as well as a Finnish sauna (80°-90°C) with purifying and regenerative effects for the skin and immune system, and a biosauna or “soft sauna” (40°-60°C) with a gentler revitalizing and purifying effect, also ideal for stimulating microcirculation without stress.
A distinctive feature of the spa is the Roman Impluvium, a hydrotherapy experience inspired by ancient Roman baths, which alternates between hot and cold water to stimulate microcirculation, muscles and the nervous system.
