In Rome, this kind of no-food supermarket is not new; in fact, Action is opening its 10th store in Rome. The store, active since Saturday, August 9, is located at the Casilino Shopping Center on Via Casilina 1011 and occupies an area of about 795 square meters, offering employment to 20 new employees.
With this opening, the total number of Action stores in Italy rises to 172. The first to open in Rome was the one in Tor Vergata.
How it works
The store offers the “Action Formula”: about 6,000 products, increasingly sustainability-oriented, distributed in 14 different merchandise categories, from DIY to gardening, from toys to food. Each week the store introduces about 150 new items, and more than two-thirds of the products cost less than 2 euros, thus ensuring a diverse and affordable assortment.
The company places great emphasis on environmental sustainability, committing to reducing CO2 emissions. “Products are increasingly sustainable,” Action explains, “as evidenced by Better Cotton or organic certified cotton, wood from responsibly managed forests (FSC® and PEFC certifications), and Fairtrade cocoa used since 2022.
What products can I find?
Every week there are items on promotion: toys, body and facial care products, toys, karaoke, and more. The offers are posted online on Action Italia’s social channels.
Opening hours of the new store
The new store is spacious and easily accessible, with opening hours Monday through Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
