The Traffic School Park, run by SICES srl (Società Italiana Centri di Educazione Stradale), is located in Rome EUR, in the Parco del Ninfeo, and has been dedicated to traffic education since 1964, with a special focus on school-age children. The goal is to teach the rules of the Highway Code and promote awareness of the importance of road safety.
The park offers practical and theoretical courses for different age groups: children ages 3 to 6 can start with mini-vehicles, while those ages 6 to 12 can progress toward obtaining a license. Children 12 and older have the opportunity to ride mopeds. Classes last 30 minutes and require reservations.
SICES is recognized at the European level for its commitment to road education and is one of the signatories to the “European Road Safety Charter.” In addition to the fixed park, it also offers an Itinerant Park School for public or private events (such as birthdays), which includes signage and routes equipped to simulate real traffic situations.
Activities include theoretical and practical lessons, educational films, moped balancing exercises, and creative workshops. At the end of the activities, participants receive a “Pink Sheet,” a diploma of participation and educational materials.
