
This spring, Rome and the surrounding area will host numerous events dedicated to flowers and gardening. Here is an overview of the main fairs and events.
Spring at the Landriana (March 28-30, 2025)
It will take place at the Landriana Gardens in Tor San Lorenzo (Ardea). This trade show will offer rare plants, garden items, and free consultations with experts. Guided tours of the park’s 10 hectares, workshops for children and a food court surrounded by greenery will be available.
For children up to 12 years of age, admission is free; full tickets cost 8 euros.
Baths in Bloom (March 29-30, 2025)
At the Baths of Trajan in Civitavecchia, this market exhibition focuses on rare and unusual plants, with displays in a unique archaeological setting (more than 60 exhibitors). The event also includes booths of handicrafts and gardening products.
Archaeological area admission 5 euros, children under 12 get in free.
Festival of the Green and Landscape (April 4-6, 2025)
At the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, this festival features themed trails on biophilia, gardening workshops, plant and furniture markets, family activities and performances. It is an ideal event for those seeking inspiration for greener urban living. Book presentations, 2 DJ sets and 4 live performances will be held in the garden.
Hanami at the Botanical Garden (April 12-13, 2025)
An event dedicated to the blossoming of cherry trees in the Japanese garden of the Botanical Garden in Rome. Cultural gatherings inspired by the Japanese tradition of Hanami will be organized.
Floracult (April 25-27, 2025)
At Casali del Pino in Veio Park, this market exhibition celebrates sustainability with rare plants, garden furniture and meetings with experts. Conceived by Ilaria Venturini Fendi, the event aims to raise awareness of the importance of greenery even in small spaces such as balconies and terraces.
Tickets: full price 12 euros, reduced conventions 9 euros (children under 12 are free).
TuliPark
The annual event in Rome celebrating the blooming of tulips in a Dutch-style park returns again this year, offering a unique experience among colors, scents and interactive activities. For 2025, the park will open roughly between mid-March and late April, depending on the weather, and will be located as usual at 73 Via dei Gordiani, next to Villa De Sanctis. The surprise of 2025 is that there will also be daffodils.
Visitors can walk among the flowers and pick them by the you-pick method, composing customized bouquets. Admission without tulip picking costs about 8-10 euros. Then you can buy packages to collect the flowers.
