National B&B Day 2025, known as B&B Day, will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, coinciding with International Women’s Day. This will be the 18th edition of the event, conceived and promoted by the Italian portal Bed-and-Breakfast.it.
What B&B Day 2025 proposes
During the night of March 8, travelers can stay for free in thousands of Italian bed and breakfasts participating in the initiative, provided they book at least one more night (previous or subsequent) in the same facility. Thus, a half-price stay.
Participating B&Bs include historic mansions, country cottages, charming villas, mountain lodges and facilities in the historic centers of art cities or in the most charming villages. This allows travelers to choose based on their preferences and the type of experience they want: by the sea or in the mountains?
B&B Day was created to promote the family hospitality model typical of bed and breakfasts, characterized by warmth, intimacy and authenticity. It also allows people to make the discovery of local Italian traditions, away from the mass tourist circuits, booking in places to explore at least once in a lifetime.
How to participate
To participate, one must log on to the official B&B Day portal (www.bbday.it) to consult the list of participating facilities. One must remember that to enjoy the free night on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at least two consecutive nights must be booked (one must be on the 8th).
Where to stay
Among the various destinations we find historic villages, such as Polignano a Mare or Gallipoli, but also Montepulciano and San Gimignano. Those in the mood for snow can go to Trento or Crissolo; those looking for a relaxing weekend can stay in San Giuliano Terme or Castel San Pietro Terme; those who want to get a little further away from Rome can go to Favignana or Pantelleria, but also discover Bologna or Matera.
