Roma Chocolate is an annual festival, held in Rome, dedicated entirely to chocolate. The event typically takes place in various iconic locations in the city, such as the EUR district and Trastevere, and attracts locals and tourists alike with its wide range of chocolate-related activities.
Roma Chocolate at EUR
The festival in 2024 will take place Nov. 14-17 on Viale Europa in the EUR district from 10 a.m. until evening. Numerous artisan chocolatiers will offer a wide variety of chocolate products, including pralines, bars, spreads and more. Visitors can find from classic dark chocolate to more exotic flavors such as chili or vegan chocolates.
Roma Chocolate offers more than just tasting; the event includes live cooking shows where chefs demonstrate how to prepare chocolate dishes, workshops and laboratories for children and adults to learn how to make chocolate, and tasting events where attendees can sample different types of high-quality chocolate.
The festival is often set up like an outdoor boutique with wooden stalls that create a charming atmosphere. It has become a beloved tradition among chocolate lovers in the capital.
