After welcoming over 3,000 visitors in 2025, Tenuta delle Zucche is gearing up for its second edition. From October 3 to November 1, 2026, every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the two hectares of Tenuta Mosaico in Castel Gandolfo will once again transform into the premier fall park in the Castelli Romani—with a new feature that families will love: free admission for all children up to age 10.
The heart of the experience remains what has worked from the very beginning: strolling among hundreds of pumpkins, choosing your own in the Pumpkin Field, carving and decorating it in the dedicated workshop, then getting lost in the Scarecrow Maze —which is even bigger this year and full of new paths. Entertainment is provided by Vultus Eventi, one of the most established entertainment companies in the area.
What’s New in 2026
This year’s edition adds attractions designed for all ages. Highlights include Mago Pablo’s magic show, the “Zucca Salterina” with straw-lined paths on giant bouncy balls, the Giant Foosball Table —where visitors become the players—and the Straw Bridge to climb. For the little ones, a new area entirely dedicated to children ages 0–5 makes its debut. Rounding out the day are activities with horses andthe Street Food & Relax Area featuring food trucks and local products.
The park maintains its inclusive nature: it is fully accessible, and this year, once again, it involves young peoplefrom the GreenLight Association—which supports families with members who have disabilities—in setting up the displays.
The first edition surprised the organizers with the diverse background of the attendees: families came not only from the Castelli Romani, but also from Rome, various provinces of Lazio, and even from Chiusi. “This year we want to take it a step further,” says Andrea Montellanico, founder of Tenuta Mosaico. “The goal is to make Tenuta delle Zucche a must-attend fall event for families in the area and beyond.”
Tenuta Mosaico is located at Via dei Macinanti snc in Castel Gandolfo. For more information: info@tenutamosaico.it.
