Pizzeria Ciro Cascella 3.0 stands out as a true excellence in the Roman and national gastronomic scene, as demonstrated by the prestigious awards it has received, including inclusion in the MICHELIN Italia 2025 Guide and among the best pizzerias in Italy according to Gambero Rosso.
What to eat at Ciro Cascella’s
The heart of the offer is the pizza, unanimously described as extraordinary and incredibly light, often compared to a “cloud” because of its very high digestibility. This achievement is the result of Cascella’s meticulous “dough 3.0”: a soft base with a well-pronounced crust, obtained through a long process that combines 24 hours of fermentation and 12 hours of leavening, for a total of 36 hours, associated with a high hydration of more than 70 percent. The quality extends to the ingredients, which are carefully selected, such as San Marzano Tomato PDO and Slow Food Presidium red garlic from Nubia.

The menu is rich and varied. Classic pizzas, such as the traditional Marinara at €8. 50 and the Margherita at €9.50, flank elaborate signature offerings. Prominent among these is the “World Pizza Day 2025” at €16.00, a complex option dedicated to the three cities of its locations, which combines three distinct flavors, including black pig sausage with friarielli and a version of amatriciana with ragù, guanciale and pecorino romano, all enriched with arugula and bresaola. Options with alternative doughs (whole wheat or cereal heart) and in gluten-free and lactose-free versions are also offered. These preferences, such as pan-baking, carry an additional charge of €2.
In addition to pizza, you can enjoy classic Neapolitan fried foods and a selection of artisanal desserts (including gluten-free).
The Rome location is located at Viale Isacco Newton, 68, in the Portuense area. The restaurant is open continuously every day, providing service for both lunch and dinner. For reservations, you can contact 06 6530724.
