On June 25, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., music and solidarity will come together on the stage of the Cavea at the “Ennio Morricone” Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. The event, titled“Pane ar Pane,” is not just a major concert, but a concrete initiative conceived by actor Elio Germano to actively support the Community of Sant’Egidio and its projects assisting the most vulnerable.
The ticket price includes a copy of the album “Pane ar Pane,” which will be handed out directly to the audience on the evening of the concert.
Artists performing at Pane ar Pane
The initiative has garnered the support of many well-known figures from the Italian music and entertainment scenes, who will participate entirely free of charge. The first list of announced names includes: Brunori Sas, Paola Cortellesi, Danno, Elio Germano (accompanied by Ardecore), Giancane, Noemi, Willie Peyote, Margherita Vicario, and Il Muro Del Canto.
The beating heart of the initiative is a one-of-a-kind musical experiment. Great classics of international pop and rock have been translated into Roman dialect (by Elio Germano, revised by Emma Gainsforth) and rearranged by Ardecore, led by Giampaolo Felici and supported by an excellent group of Italian multi-instrumentalists.
This collaboration has resulted in an album set to be released on the very day of the concert, featuring artists such as Lillo Petrolo, Corrado Guzzanti, Elio (of Le Storie Tese), Margherita Vicario, and Noemi. Before the event, the participating singers will also have the opportunity to visit and experience firsthand the Community of Sant’Egidio’s operations.
The charitable goal
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Community of Sant’Egidio to fund crucial initiatives in Italy and around the world, including: soup kitchens and shelters for the poor, support for the homeless, the fight against educational poverty and school dropout rates, and the creation and management of humanitarian corridors.
