Rome is preparing to greet 2024 with a grand New Year’s Eve concert to be held, as per tradition, at the Circus Maximus. The free event, organized in collaboration with RDS, will begin at 9:30 p.m. on December 31, 2024 and continue until 2:00 a.m. on January 1, 2025. This year, the main protagonists will be Mahmood, Mara Sattei and Tony Effe, accompanied by other artists from the Italian music scene.
The announcement of the big names came during a press conference today, Dec. 12, in the Sala delle Bandiere at the Campidoglio, in the presence of Mayor Roberto Gualtieri, Councillor for Major Events Alessandro Onorato and RDS CEO Massimiliano Montefusco. Also present were hosts Francesca Romana D’Andrea and Filippo Ferraro, as well as Ferdinando Salzano of Friends & Partners, connected virtually.
The concert program
In addition to live performances by the three top artists (Mahmood, Mara Sattei, and Tony Effe), the evening will offer additional performances by other Italian talents. After the traditional midnight toast, the party will continue with a special DJ set by Mauro Zavada Mandolesi (Dimensione Suono Roma) to welcome 2025 with energy and fun.
An opportunity not to be missed for those who want to experience a New Year’s Eve full of music and fun in one of Rome’s most iconic locations.
