Giftland – The Gift City returns to Rome to make Christmas even more special! Three weekends in December (December 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22) will transform the San Paolo District (Via Alessandro Severo, 48) into a magical place where you can find the perfect gift, delight in delicious food, enjoy activities for all ages and soak up the Christmas atmosphere. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and admission is free.
An Extraordinary Christmas Market
The heart of Giftland is its 6,000-square-meter market, which hosts more than 200 exhibitors from all over Italy. Here you will find: handmade creations, clothing and accessories, Christmas decorations, vinyls, books and vintage items, upcycling and home decor items, games and books for children, ceramics, candles and organic cosmetics, plants and flower arrangements.
Food area
Between shopping and activities, you can take a break in the fully heated food area, where you will find:
- burgers and street food
- vegan proposals
- sweets, ice cream, hot chocolate and mulled wine
- coffee, cocktails and craft beers
- Christmas specialties for an unforgettable dining experience
For the little ones
The little ones will be welcomed by Santa Claus himself, who will collect their wishes and guide them to the kids area, where many free workshops and creative activities await them, such as: Christmas Card for Santa Claus (pop-up cards), Animal Cartoons (paint paper mache sculptures), The Christmas Village (collective construction of a village), Let’s Build a Snowman (snowman creation), Gingerbread Man (making gingerbread decorations), Mosaic Workshop (for a fee, for children and adults).
In addition, magical shows such as Bubble’s Christmas and the fun Ludobus EduGioca (traveling wooden games) will make the day even more special.
Workshops for adults
For adults, Giftland offers a series of workshops to make personalized gifts and Christmas decorations. Workshops available include Surreal on Nature (innovative art techniques), Crochet Under the Table (crocheted Christmas decorations), Creating Personalized Mugs (pinch technique), Clay Holder Letters, Natural Bath Bombs, Ceramics and Christmas Decorations, Stabilized Paintings with Mosses and Lichens, and Monotype Notebooks. Prices vary by workshop, and places are limited: reservations are recommended.
Free shuttle: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. every 15 minutes, from the parking lot on Via dell’Accademia Peloritana.
