Every year Arezzo celebrates the magic of Christmas with the Tyrolean Village, the largest Tyrolean Market in Italy. In the beautiful Piazza Grande from Nov. 15 to Dec. 28, 2025 , this magical Christmas village offers crafts, gifts, gift ideas, typical products and tastings, with three taste huts where you can taste Tyrolean specialties such as pretzels, raclette, melted cheese, polenta and the famous roast shin.
New for the 2025 edition is the Santa Claus House in the Medici Fortress, a 10,000-square-foot magic trail with games, workshops, installations, planetarium and the Lemax Village. Also back is the Brick House, the Lego house in the Palazzo della Fraternita, with more than 40 works of art made with Lego bricks.
Every evening from 5 to 9 p.m., the Big Lights Show illuminates the facades of the buildings in Piazza Grande with lights, colors and music in a free and atmospheric event. Also scheduled are guided tours to discover Arezzo and its historical and artistic beauties, every Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m., departing from the Cathedral.
The Village will be open Thursday through Sunday until Dec. 18, and then daily until Dec. 28, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (with reduced hours on Dec. 24, 25 and 28).
