Bali? No, Rome. We are just a few steps from the Colosseum, at Sanctuary Eco Retreat, best known for its electronic music nights. During the day, the lively, restless mood of the nightclub scene is abandoned to make way for a peaceful oasis that transports visitors to the tropics, with loungers, a bar, a pool and tables so you can work remotely.
It is certainly one of the most original and scenic locations in Rome, located on Via delle Terme di Traiano. Immersed in a large exotic garden of about 1,000 square meters, it offers an atmosphere suspended between nature, design and international suggestions, with an outdoor pool that becomes the protagonist during the warm season.
Pool and Dining
During spring and summer, the Sanctuary opens its pool area, where you can relax on loungers and enjoy the solarium, perhaps sipping a drink or dining al fresco. The restaurant service features “tropic-asian” cuisine, blending Asian flavors, North African and South American influences, offering exotic and creative dishes in a refined and casual setting. Poolside dining is available, Tuesday through Sunday.
Hours and Reservations
The Sanctuary is open from morning for breakfast and lunch, with the option of smart working and relaxing in the garden or poolside from 11:00 am. From 6 p.m. onward, the atmosphere is transformed with aperitifs, dinners and cocktail bars. Access, especially to the pool area on weekends, is generally by reservation only.
Atmosphere and Services
In addition to the pool and restaurant, the Sanctuary hosts events, performances, yoga sessions, and massages, creating a multifaceted and relaxing environment, ideal both for a relaxing day and for evenings enlivened by music and artistic performances.
Given the venue’s success in the summer months, it is recommended to make reservations in advance, especially if you want a table by the pool or to attend weekend special events.
