Read more about Casaprota
Casaprota is located in the province of Rieti, about 65 km from Rome and about 1 hour by car. It is a village nestled in the Sabine hills, and is known for its agricultural and historic landscape.
Its origins date back to the 10th century, when the territory belonged to the Abbey of Farfa. Later it became a fief of the noble families De Romania and Orsini. This place in Lazio is one of the towns with the fewest inhabitants, not reaching 700. The ideal place for those looking for some peace and genuine food.
