A young man wearing skis on Rome’s Metro A aroused curiosity and irony when he was spotted at the Cipro station dressed in a snow suit. Video of the event went viral after being shared by the“Welcome To Favelas” Instagram channel and picked up by numerous national newspapers and Instagram pages. Initially, many speculated about the reasons behind this unusual appearance, with comments such as “He was preparing for the Milan 2026 Olympics” or “Surely it’s a bet gone wrong.”
The mystery was solved in the evening: the guy in question is Matteo Iacopini, content creator and well-known face of ScuolaZoo. The initiative was part of a guerrilla marketing campaign organized by ScuolaZoo to promote New Year’s Eve trips. ScuolaZoo, in fact, is a very influential media brand among Generation Z and organizes group trips to Europe for young people aged 15 to 22.
