In the heart of Rome, just a few steps from the Barberini stop, Palazzo Talìa has breathed new life into the monumental spacesof the former Nobile Collegio del Nazareno. Hidden within this historic building is Bar della Musa: a treasure trove of rare beauty.
The aperitif experience at Bar della Musa in Rome
An intimate setting where the original grotesques on the ceilings interact with the eclectic furnishings designed by Studio Luca Guadagnino. It is a place where Rome’s millennia-old history now embraces high-end mixology.
The aperitif ritual takes place from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM and is an experience designed to blend gastronomy and relaxation, with options that include a drink of your choice.
- La Dolcevita ( €26): a tribute to Roman elegance that includes a drink and a trio of canapés (salmon roe, shrimp, and Russian salad with mayonnaise).
- All’italiana (€28): for those seeking bold flavors, this includes a drink paired with a spherical amatriciana-style supplì, butter brioche with Cantabrian anchovies, and cacio e pepe potato puffs.
- Oyster Selection (€30): a selection of three fresh oysters served with a cocktail (we recommend the Gin Tonic or the house Martini), a glass of champagne, or wine.
The drink list ranges from Martinis served at -18°C to signature twists.

From crudités to culinary dishes
For those wishing to dine or pair their drinks with more substantial dishes, the menu offers exceptional seafood and great classics. Options range from a selection of three Italian oysters (€18) to a caviar tasting ( €58), up to the sumptuous Plateau Royale (€47) featuring red shrimp, scampi, oysters, and 10g of caviar. Other tempting options include ceviche made with the catch of the day (€15), whiskey-grilled oysters (€20), or the lobster sandwich (€35) served with fries. But there’s also the beef burger (€26), the Talìa Caesar Salad (€24), and the iconic spaghetti alla vienna with tomato sauce (€18).
Address: Via del Nazareno, 14 (Palazzo Talìa). Hours: open daily from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM (hours may vary on holidays).
