From the authors of “The Frog Prince”
Soon the most magical time of the year will begin, Rome will shine thanks to Christmas decorations and the many events taking place in the city. And among them will be the musical inspired by Charles Dickens’ famous Christmas novel, “A Christmas Carol.”
The Bit Company presents an original work at the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome, adapted for musical theater by Melina Pellicano (author and director) with music by Stefano Lori and Marco Caselle, to make adults and children dream.
The new Christmas musical in Rome.
The story is that of old Ebenezer Scrooge who runs his business bank with cynical avarice, shunning all human relations and starving his hapless employee Bob Cratchit. Scrooge hates Christmas, and not even his nephew’s invitation to dinner can change his mind. On Christmas Eve, however, he is visited by the ghost of his late partner Jacob Marley who announces the visit of three spirits.
The spirit of Christmases past shows him the mistakes of his past life, the spirit of Christmases present shows him the happiness that Christmas spreads among people, and the spirit of Christmases to come shows him his ugly fate should he not change the life he now leads.
After the visit of the spirits, Scrooge wakes up deeply changed in soul and begins to appreciate the magic of Christmas, with a desire to do good to people.
