Hidden on the first floor of the Hotel Valadier, there is a portal in time that leads directly to the beating heart of the glamorous atmosphere of the 1930s. The Valentyne Restaurant & Club is not just a restaurant, but a sophisticated lounge where, thanks to a skillful interplay of soft lighting, vibrant velvets, and brass accents, you can step back in time.
Here, amid feathers and Murano glass sconces, international elegance meets a refined yet informal welcome, creating a timeless setting.
A unique evening in Rome
The experience at Valentyne is a sensory crescendo that begins at the table. The menu, created by executive chef Aldo Baglioni, stands out for its bold offerings evident from the very first items on the menu: from the Gastro Top featuring the refined guinea fowl stuffed with pumpkin and cardoncelli mushrooms with Taleggio fondue (€43) to the selection of Italian cheeses with honey and mostarda (€32). For those seeking absolute luxury, the caviar selection is one of the most comprehensive in the capital: it ranges from 10g of Siberian Classic (€60) to the prestigious selections of Beluga Imperial ( €470 – 50g), served with toasted brioche, sour cream, and boiled potato.

While you savor the squid ink ravioli (€45) or the octopus with potatoes (€40), the club transforms. From Tuesday to Sunday, from 7:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., the stage comes alive with classy burlesque performances and the captivating rhythms of live jazz bands, turning dinner into a continuous show.
Additionally, after dinner, you can order unique cocktails, such as the Missile, the Rossetto, and the Babushka.
The sweet finale

The evening doesn’t end with the desserts on the menu, such as the Three-Chocolate Sphere with a Passion Fruit Center (€18) or the Flambéed Crêpes Suzette (€35). At Valentyne, you can end the night by becoming a child again: with cotton candy, a touch of dreamy carefreeness that contrasts wonderfully with the intensity of the cocktails and the sensuality of the shows.
