There are many good resolutions, and after the vacations we start again with a different energy. “Grace for the World” in St. Peter’s Square.
On September 13, 2025, St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican will be the scene of a unique show that will go down in history. World-renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Pharrell Williams and Karol G will perform in the world’s most famous square in a free concert open to the public, the first in thousands of years at the Vatican.
This very special event marks the conclusion of the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity, an occasion when, for two days in Rome, world leaders, Nobel laureates and activists will gather at the Holy See to discuss the great challenges facing all humanity and the urgency of rediscovering universal brotherhood.

Dinner on the boat

Ristoboat offers a unique way to discover Rome by sailing along the Tiber River with a gourmet dinner prepared by chef Marco Mondini. During approximately three hours of navigation, with both lunch (12:30-3:30pm) and dinner (8:30pm-11:30pm) departures, you can take a closer look at sixteen historic bridges, including Ponte Sant’Angelo, Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II and Ponte della Musica, experiencing Rome from an extraordinary perspective.

Ready to party? The express train will depart Rome at 7:57 p.m. on Fridays, Sept. 26 and Oct. 3, returning at 3:30 p.m. on Sundays, Sept. 28 and Oct. 5. The journey traverses a scenic route through the Alps with stops in Verona, Trento, Bolzano, Brenner, Innsbruck and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Ciammellocco and Longarini Festival.
On Sept. 12-14, Cretone dresses up for the Sagra del “Ciammellocco e dei Longarini,” traditional products of Lazio (doughnuts and pasta, respectively). This event transforms the historic center into a “wine street.” During the evenings, there will be live music, creating a unique atmosphere to explore the alleys with a glass in hand and rediscover the area.
Aperitif on the Tiber

From Thursday to Sunday at 6 p.m. the boat departs, allowing you to sip a glass of wine accompanied by appetizers as the sun sets. You can admire the magnificence of Ponte Sisto and St. Peter’s Basilica lulled by background music carefully chosen by the crew.
Porcino Mushroom Festival in Lariano
Porcino mushroom lovers can attend the festival dedicated to this mushroom from September 11 to 21 in Lariano. It is one of the most important mushroom festivals in Italy with musical events, exhibitions and conferences. Food stands will open every evening at 6 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday also for lunch. Admission is free and there are three different menus. Of course, there will be no shortage of Lariano bread at the festival. Find the full program here.
Children’s cinema

The Cinema dei Piccoli, considered the smallest in the world with 63 seats, will reopen Sept. 11. It will feature arthouse cinema and animated films for the little ones. This particular movie theater is located inside the beautiful Villa Borghese park.
