After a long hiatus, the independent craft market The Green Market is back and has moved to a new location. On Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., it will take placeat the Hacienda, located at Via dei Cluniacensi 68—a venue hosting the market for the first time. Admission is by donation.
More than 50 artisans and an all-day program
There will be over 50 exhibitors from the worlds of self-production, independent design, and sustainable creativity. You’ll find handmade items, plants, books, natural cosmetics, small-press publications, and design pieces—all tied to a more mindful approach to production and consumption.
But the market isn’t limited to the booths. The program includes free activities open to everyone:
3:00 p.m., cyanotype. This workshop teaches the ancient photographic printing technique that uses light to transform images and objects into blue prints. For information and reservations, call 340 3974933.
Yoga. Chiara from Yoginifoodie will lead a Vinyasa Yoga session. For more information, call 350 0840622.
4:30 p.m., book presentation. Lorenzo Nava presents *Ecocene*, a journey to rediscover the deep connection between our minds and the Earth.
5:30 p.m., swing. Francesca De Vita’s Savoy Swing school is holding a free, open class, designed even for those who have never danced before. After the class, the dance floor will remain open for free dancing.
Families have access to a children’s area, where little ones can draw and try their hand at arts and crafts. For food, La Drogheria Veg prepares sweet and savory specialties made entirely from plant-based ingredients.
How to get there and what to do if it rains

If the weather doesn’t hold up, the Hacienda has a large indoor hall, which complements the outdoor spaces.
By public transportation, the venue can be reached from the Roma Tiburtina area via bus lines 163, 211, 309, and 448, which stop near Via di Galla Placidia. From the Monti Tiburtini stop on Metro Line B, it’s about a 10- to 15-minute walk.
If you’re driving, there’s a large free parking lot with an entrance on Via di Galla Placidia, just before the Brico store on the right, with direct access to the event area.
The event is organized by the EticArte Cultural Association. More info on their Instagram profile.
