“Plots of Light,” the immersive sensory light art exhibition, returns to reopen its doors to the public at the Botanical Garden of Rome. The event will be open to visitors from Nov. 30, 2024 to Jan. 6, 2025.
The exhibition is organized by IMG in collaboration with Be.it Events. The event includes unique light installations that reinterpret the theme of Christmas through contemporary art and creativity. It involves national and international artists, including Unit C1 Group, Light Art Collection, MOTOREFISICO, and NewBlend. Also participating are students from Italian institutions such as the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce and Sapienza University of Rome.
The itinerary includes 22 stages with light art installations, some of which are unseen. The works are designed to be interactive and engaging, allowing visitors to become co-protagonists of the route.
The event aims to create a new Christmas tradition by combining traditional values with modern technologies. The light works are accompanied by music created especially for the event. Light paths to be taken among nature and installations where people can enter and take photos.
There are also booths at the end of the exhibition where one can stop for food and drinks.
