A short distance from Verona and easily accessible from Rome, the Sigurtà Garden Park is preparing to inaugurate the 2026 season.
A multi-award-winning natural gem
Located in Valeggio sul Mincio, this 60-hectare Eden is not just a park, but a piece of history dating back to 1407. Already voted “Italy’s Most Beautiful Park” and recently awarded the Garden Tourism Award as the best garden in the world, Sigurtà offers fairytale scenery:
- The Labyrinth: a geometric path through 1,500 yew trees.
- Rose Avenue: a kilometer of spectacular blooms with the Scaligero Castle in the background.
- Tulip Mania: between March and April, the blooming of over a million tulips transforms the lawn into a palette of colors.
Sunday, March 8: a unique opportunity
For Sunday, March 8, 2026, the Park has launched an extraordinary promotion: admission will be available at a special rate of €5 for everyone. Unlike in previous years, tickets for this date can only be purchased online while supplies last. It will not be possible to purchase reduced-price tickets directly at the ticket office.
The 2026 Events Calendar
The season will be marked by artistic and recreational events, as indicated in the new program:
- March 21 and April 18: The “Spring Artist Saturdays” are back, dedicated to painters who want to portray nature live.
- April 4: The traditional Easter Egg Hunt.
- May: Events with Buskers Park (May 17) and sheep shearing (May 31).
- September: The famous “Magical World of Cosplay” (September 4-5-6) and “Journey Through Time” (September 20).
- November 15: Seasonal closure.
How to get there from Rome
The journey is easier than it seems: the Frecciarossa train takes you to Verona Porta Nuova in about 3 hours. From there, bus line 160 takes you directly to Valeggio sul Mincio in an hour. Once you arrive, you can explore the park on foot, by bike, on the panoramic train, or by renting an electric golf cart.
Things to do in the surrounding area: art and flavors
A visit to the park is the perfect opportunity to discover Borghetto sul Mincio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Don’t miss a taste of the famous Tortellini di Valeggio, called “Nodo d’Amore” (Love Knot) in homage to a romantic local legend.
