Lisbon is getting ready to once again become the European capital of music. In addition to being a perfect destination for a city break, the Portuguese capital will host the highly anticipated 2026 edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa.
The event will take place on June 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2026, at Parque Tejo. But be warned: the rush for tickets (starting at €89) has already begun— tickets for June 21 and passes for the first weekend are already completely sold out!
The Festival Lineup: a mix for all tastes
Since 2004, the European edition of the legendary Brazilian festival has brought the biggest names on the international scene to the stage. Here’s what to expect during the four days of music…

Saturday, June 20 (Pop Day): The opening day will feature Katy Perry as the headliner on the main stage (“Palco Mundo”). The atmosphere will be an electrifying mix of pop, metal, Brazilian rhythms, and kizomba. Please note: weekend passes are sold out, but the last few single-day tickets for this date are still available.
Sunday, June 21 (Rock Day) – [SOLD OUT]: a day dedicated to rock and 2000s nostalgia. Linkin Park will set the stage ablaze, led by the vocals of Emily Armstrong. Joining them will be heavyweights like Cypress Hill, Kaiser Chiefs, and Hoobastank.
Saturday, June 27 (Legends Day): a true dive into music history, featuring icons from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. Rod Stewart, returning to the festival after his memorable past performances, and the legendary Cyndi Lauper will headline. Artists such as Xutos & Pontapés, GNR, UHF, TAXI, and Syro will also perform.
Sunday, June 28 (Urban Day): The grand finale will explode to the beat of hip-hop and Afropop. The headliner will be 21 Savage, supported by an exceptional lineup that includes Central Cee, CeeLo Green, Rema, Lola Índigo, and many other names from the urban scene.
Useful Information

The festival takes place within the beautiful Parque Tejo, located near the mouth of the Trancão River. Getting to the event area is very easy and well organized. The area is extensively served by the metro, trains, and buses.
During the festival, a special shuttle service (operated by CARRIS) will run, connecting Gare do Oriente station directly to the festival gates. Shuttle offer: you should book your shuttle bus ticket as soon as possible; if purchased by June 14, it costs just €2. From June 15 onward, the price will rise to €4.
