We went to Piano C – Circolo del Vino, a small wine bar with a cooking workshop located in the San Giovanni neighborhood, at 12 Faleria Street. The place is dedicated to wine lovers, with a focus on natural and artisanal wines, including Piwi grape varieties, which represent a sustainable frontier of viticulture.
The ambiance is intimate and cozy, with about 20 seats inside with symbolic characters that bring the place to life and more tables outside. We recommend it for a pleasant city aperitif.
The gastronomic proposal is designed as an accompaniment to wine, with original and quality dishes: baccalà mantecato; meatballs with sauce; Scrocchiarella withsmoked provola, Agnoni grilled peppers and Cantabrian anchovies; rustic cake with field herbs; tartare tonnata; farinata; taco; hummus. The cost of the dishes ranges from 6 to 12 euros.
Useful information.
Piano C is open Monday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight, while it is closed on Sundays. It is an ideal venue for those looking for a quality food and wine experience in an intimate and well-kept setting, with a selection of natural wines and unusual but well-executed dishes, perfect for relaxed evenings in the San Giovanni neighborhood.
