Following its success in Milan, Piantala’s national tour stops in the capital from April 17 to 19, 2026. The event is not just a plant market, but a true multidisciplinary festival set against the backdrop of the revitalized spaces of the Forte! Trionfale Urban Factory.
The Piantala program in Rome

The heart of the event is a rich calendar of experiences that go far beyond simply purchasing houseplants.
- Talks and Environment: Saturday, April 18 at 2:00 PM, Alan Cappelli Goetz will moderate the discussion “Let’s Turn the City into a Jungle.” The event will feature institutional figures such as Councilor Sabrina Alfonsi and representatives from local organizations like Retake Roma and Green Roma to discuss urban green policies.
- Creative Workshops: Visitors can try their hand at workshops on kokedama, terrariums, semi-hydroponics, and ceramics.
- Wellness and Curiosities: the program includes yoga sessions among the plants, color analysis consultations, and even corners dedicated to tarot readings.
- Sustainable Beauty: Thanks to a partnership with LUSH, you can participate in a workshop to create handmade cleaning products.
Piantala stands out for its playful and accessible approach to botany. The format plays on the characteristics of plants to link them to everyday situations: from Haworthia Cooperi ( the “ghost plant”), ideal as a gift for those who vanish into thin air, to Crassula Ovata, a symbol of resilience for those who fear abandonment.
The goal for 2026 is ambitious: to reach 26 Italian cities, involving over 200,000 people.
How to participate
Admission to the event is free, but participation requires mandatory online registration. For individual workshops, you can check prices and specific schedules via the dedicated registration links.
