Open Days for the issuance of electronic ID cards continue with special openings of the Municipality XIII registry offices and the former Tourist Information Points downtown.
On Saturday August 31, the office at Via Aurelia 470 will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the former PITs at Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, Piazza Sonnino, Piazza delle Cinque Lune and Via Petroselli 52 will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. On Sunday, September 1, former PITs will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..
How do you book an appointment?
As communicated by the municipality, it is necessary to book an appointment on the site CIE Agenda of the Ministry of Interior starting Friday, August 30. To apply, one must show up with reservation, passport photo, electronic payment card and old document. The initiative will allow more than 500 CIE requests to be accommodated over the weekend.
“Thanks to the extraordinary openings also next weekend citizens and citizens who need to renew their IDs will be able to do so with one or at most two days of waiting, by booking on the previous Friday on the Agenda CIE website. In a single weekend there will be more than 500 CIE requests that will be able to be accommodated, thanks to the work of the staff of the participating municipal offices and the Capitoline Departments involved for more than two years in the Open Day project,” said Councillor for Personnel Policies, Decentralization, Participation and Territorial Services for the City, Andrea Catarci.
