Synopsis.
Dear Lord. Berenice Palmer has been found dead, and the forensic report has determined it to be a homicide. The police suspect that five people connected to the victim in one way or another are involved, and now Inspector Marlowe has his hands full. Jealousy, gambling problems, financial difficulties and abusive cults all play a role in this crime and it is up to you to uncover this web of lies.

Throughout its history, the palace has been owned by several esteemed members of the Catholic Church, including the de facto governor of France for nearly two decades, Cardinal Mazarin.
