From July 11-13, 2025, the Fatamorgana gelateria on Via dei Chiavari 37A is hosting a Disney+-signed temporary event dedicated to fans of the streaming platform’s most iconic TV series.
During the event it will be possible to taste free artistic ice creams inspired by famous series such as Lost, The Bear, Desperate Housewives, Modern Family, Futurama, Only Murders in the Building, Italia’s Got Talent, Alien: Planet Earth and the new Italian production Paradise.
The ice creams, made by Fatamorgana, are high quality, completely gluten free and offer variants suitable for vegans and lactose intolerant people. Tastings are reserved for adults only and available while supplies last, daily from 3 p.m. to midnight.
The initiative combines pop culture and sensory pleasure, transforming gelato into a multi-sensory experience that celebrates the world of TV series through flavors, shapes and visual suggestions, offering an original and mouth-watering way to experience summer in Rome.
Fatamorgana Gelateria
La gelateria Fatamorgana is a Roman brand of artisanal gelato born in 2003 from an idea of Maria Agnese Spagnuolo and her partner Francesco Simon, both from Puglia with a background in theater. The first gelateria opened at 9 Via Lago di Lesina in Rome, where the main laboratory is still located today.
Fatamorgana is distinguished by the exclusive use of natural ingredients, producing gluten-free ice cream, with many variants suitable for lactose intolerants and no added sugars.
The brand has expanded over time to now have nine outlets: six in Rome, one in Monterotondo (near Rome), and two in Los Angeles. In 2023 Fatamorgana opened a new gelateria in the heart of Rome, on Via della Croce (Spanish Steps area), which has become the brand’s flagship store.
