Autumn lovers cannot miss the most thematic event in the Castelli Romani! This weekend, tradition is renewed with the 45th Rocca di Papa Chestnut Festival, a true celebration of the queen of the season. From Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, the heart of the charming village is transformed into a stage of flavors, history and performances.

The Sagra is the highlight of autumn and embodies the convivial and rustic spirit of the local tradition. In the streets of the historic center and in the main squares of the City from 5 pm, visitors can immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere. The symbolic fruit of the area, the famous Marrone di Rocca di Papa, is celebrated with food and wine stands full of typical local products that enhance its authentic flavor.
But the festival is not just about food. The village, perched on Monte Cavo with a breathtaking view that sweeps all the way to the Latium coast, also hosts:

They are a tribute band that offers a faithful and engaging show of The Doors, transporting the audience to the psychedelic atmosphere of the 1960s with a mix of rock, poetry and mysticism.
The atmosphere becomes especially atmospheric at nightfall, for the grand finale the Medieval Fortress lights up thanks to the spectacular fireworks show.
