The Christmas atmosphere envelops the famous gardens of Castel Sant’Angelo, transforming them into a charming festive village, one of the most striking corners to visit in Rome during the end-of-year festivities. This special display takes place as part of the political and cultural event Atreju, offering a unique meeting point between culture and seasonal fun with unparalleled views of the Tiber River and the iconic Mausoleum of Hadrian.

Christmas Enchantment at Castel Sant’Angelo
The area is designed to immerse visitors of all ages in the Roman Christmas spirit, combining tradition and entertainment:
- Ice Skating Rink: The centerpiece of the fun is the ice skating rink, an opportunity for adults and children alike. Skating with the majestic backdrop of Castel Sant’Angelo gives a photographic experience.
- Gastronomic Zone and Flavors of the Holidays: A cozy food area invites visitors to warm up and delight in typical specialties of the period. It will be possible to enjoy traditional Christmas sweets and sip hot drinks, such as thick chocolate or spiced mulled wine, perfect for a rejuvenating break.
In addition to political meetings, there will also be entertainment personalities: on the agenda is a debate on national-popular culture (Dec. 10) with Carlo Conti, Mara Venier, and Ezio Greggio. Among other guests: Raoul Bova, Nicoletta Romanoff, Chiara Francini.
