Action is about to open its new store in Fiumicino, in the province of Rome. This is the ninth Action store in the province and the 38th in Italy opened during this year.
The store is located inside The Wow Side Shopping Center (formerly Parco Leonardo) on Viale Donato Bramante 31/65, covering an area of 801 square meters. The new store has created 20 new jobs.
Action offers residents of Fiumicino and the surrounding area its non-food discount formula, with an assortment of about 6,000 products in 14 different categories, ranging from toys to DIY, from home to gardening, with most items priced at less than 2 euros. The catalog is renewed with 150 new products each week, with an increasing focus on sustainability and quality.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Philippe Levisse, Action’s general manager in Italy, stressed the importance of the brand’s expansion in Lazio and the company’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and the involvement of its team. Action, in fact, invests in green initiatives such as the elimination of gas supply in stores and the use of LED lighting, as well as ensuring responsible supplies with FSC®, PEFC and Fairtrade certified products.
