If you don’t have plans for Friday night yet, now you do. From Friday, October 2, to Friday, November 27, 2026, the IKEA restaurant is back withan all-you-can-eat meatball special—the most iconic dish of Swedish cuisine. The event takes place every week throughout the entire period.
IKEA’s Swedish Restaurant
A true journey through the unique flavors of Sweden. In this food area, you can discover the tastes of traditional Nordic cuisine while exploring a selection of foods and beverages. The experience doesn’t end at the table: the nearby Swedish Shop offers the chance to buy and take home the most beloved specialties, designed to celebrate the joy of sharing good food. Enriching the assortment is a mouthwatering new addition: cinnamon swirl ice cream.
As forthe all-you-can-eat meatball offering, it starts with a serving of 8 meatballs of the same flavor, accompanied by mashed potatoes and traditional sauces: lingonberry jam, cream sauce, or both. You can choose from Swedish Classics, Vegetarian, Falafel, and the latest additions— fish meatballs.
After your first course, you can order additional portions of 4 or 8 meatballs until the restaurant closes. The minimum order is 4 meatballs per flavor, so you can try them all, a few at a time.
Prices and Rules to Know
The price is 15 euros per person. IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network members pay 12 euros. The package includes a first course of 8 meatballs with mashed potatoes and sauces, as well as subsequent servings.
The types and availability of meatballs may vary from store to store, so it’s best to check before you go. The complete terms and conditions and all details can be found onthe official IKEA Italywebsite and in participating stores.
This format works well for families, since children can choose their own flavors, and for those organizing a fixed-price outing with friends. With eight Fridays to choose from, there’s plenty of time to try every variation.
