From July to September 2025, citizens and tourists can participate in a rich evening program of guided tours and educational activities at the Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia, thanks to special openings organized by the VIVE Institute of the Ministry of Culture. This program, included in the entrance fee, is designed for adults and children and offers unique cultural experiences in the evocative nighttime atmosphere of the monuments.
What it is about
The main initiative, called LIVE under the Stars, offers theatricalized tours and exploratory walks among the wonders and secrets of the Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia, following in the footsteps of artists, musicians, philosophers and filmmakers. The routes wind through palm trees, magnolias, acanthus trees, statues and ancient works, through the sumptuous halls of Palazzo Venezia and its garden, to the Vittoriano’s spectacular Panoramic Terrace. From there, participants can admire the iconic winged Victories, the starry sky, and a breathtaking view of Rome with evening lights enhancing every detail of the monument’s majestic architecture.
Schedules
Evening openings take place every Friday with extended hours: the Vittoriano remains open from 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. (last entrance at 9:45 p.m.), including the Panoramic Terrace, while on the last Friday of the month, Palazzo Venezia also follows the same schedule.
Guided tours
For families with children from 5 to 12 years old, on the evenings of July 22 and 29, August 14, 2, 9, 16, 23 and 24, there are specific “LIVE under the stars” tours with a theatricalized formula, included in the ticket and with limited seating.
In addition, guided tours of the Palazzo Venezia rooftop patrol walk are available for a fee on various dates for those who wish.
The public can thus enjoy a complete evening cultural experience that combines history, art, nature and panoramic views, enhancing the artistic and architectural heritage of the Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia in a new and evocative dimension.
