A story of rebirth with a spectacular ending. From a former abandoned industrial warehouse in the Prenestino district, it is now a unique cultural and musical space. Its rooms host DJ sets, jazz performances, and live concerts by the best emerging artists on the Italian scene. Hidden near Parco dell’Energia, just a 15-minute bus ride from the city center, this venue has quickly established itself as Rome’s new temple of live music.
Before being transformed into a cultural space in 2017, the 3,000-square-meter site housed an industrial plant belonging to the French multinational Air Liquide. The old industrial warehouse and surrounding areas were used specifically for the processing and production of liquid gases and aerosols. After the gas treatment plant closed, the area fell into serious disrepair. It was eventually saved by an urban regeneration project (Preneste Pop), which transformed the former dangerous and abandoned site into the lush creative garden and music venue it is today.
