In Casal Palocco, Solara Garden’s Christmas Village, which celebrates 28 years of operation this year, reopens. In this village there are lights, cribs, trees and other decorative elements from all over the world. And so as early as October, people in Rome can experience the atmosphere of one of the most beautiful times of the year.
The space is very large, with different thematic areas in color and style. The gingerbread house, the lights of Manhattan, the forest, the retro landscapes of the Belle Epoque and the classic Christmas are some of the areas of the Village opened for many years.
And still for nativity fans there is the Lemax village, the largest in the Roman-Lazio area, the area where you can find the American brand Kurt Adler (which makes visitors immerse themselves in the world of Disney and Coca-Cola) and the corner dedicated to teenagers.
In addition, Santa Claus will also arrive for children, and there will be decorating classes and special events to experience the magic of Christmas.
What’s new for Christmas 2025

The Solara Garden Christmas Village in Rome, as we mentioned, is now in its 28th year. This event recreates the magic of Christmas with lights, trees, nativity scenes and decorations from all over the world.
Among this year’s novelties is the Musical Tree: a small tree that, when connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, turns into a music box, bringing the magic of Christmas to a technological level.
Also among its exclusive offerings is the exquisite Huras Family collection, consisting of precious blown-glass ornaments from Poland. These ornaments, chosen even by Queen Elizabeth, represent excellence in the art of Christmas decoration, adding a touch of luxury and history.
A special moment is reserved for the little ones, who will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and personally deliver their little letter to him: the dates of the meetings will be communicated through Solara’s social channels.
The Village offers an innovative shopping experience, also accessible online (for those who do not have the opportunity to go in person). It will be open daily until the New Year from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you like to decorate your home festively, you can always check out this Christmas store and fantasize about the Christmas to come.
