Now in its 14th edition, this event transforms the city into a widespread museum, allowing free access to around 200 sites that are usually inaccessible. It is not just about historic buildings, but a journey through the centuries, from archaeological underground sites to the avant-garde of contemporary design.

What to expect from #OHR26
The event is not just a series of guided tours, but a celebration of urban identity divided into different thematic areas. Visits to prestigious private residences or artists’ homes where design meets everyday life; a focus on those spaces we live in every day but whose architectural complexity we ignore; open doors at architecture studios, design academies, and spaces dedicated to innovation; exclusive access to institutional buildings, foreign academies, and embassies that open their doors only on this occasion.

Instructions for participating in the new edition
Given the exceptional nature of the openings, the organization follows precise rules to ensure the safety and quality of the visits. It is necessary to register on the official Open House Roma website. Some sites do not require reservations; just go to the site at the indicated times, ready to wait in line.
The program will be online from the end of April 2026. We recommend that you study it in advance and create a list of your favorite places. This edition will allow you to choose from around 300 events (visits, tours, exhibitions, workshops, and other initiatives).
