La Traviata at the Baths of Caracalla: the show
Caracalla Festival 2025 brings back to the stage the story of Violetta and Alfredo, set in 19th-century Paris, tells of overwhelming passions and poignant sacrifices. The opera comes to life thanks to a cast of internationally renowned artists and engaging modern direction. On stage, director SlávaDaubnerová and conductor Francesco Lanzillotta lead extraordinary performers Corinne Winters and Piotr Buszewski, who are ready to deliver many emotions in a breathtaking historical setting.

Performances of La Traviata will be held on several evenings in July and a couple of evenings in August. Performances always begin at 9 p.m. at the Baths of Caracalla.
