On Saturday, September 13, 2025, St. Peter’s Square will host “Grace for the World,” a unique concert at the Vatican that will unite international artists, different cultures and multiple generations through music.
Participation in the live concert is free, while the whole world will be able to watch the live streaming on Network 4, Hulu, Disney + and ABC News Live. Due to the size of the event, the official setlist will remain a secret until the concert begins. If you watch carefully, however, you can find clues to a possible set list: artists who have shared the stage before, recently released songs and great classics.
Grace for the World: the soundtrack that unites us
Pharrell Williams and Andrea Bocelli will be co-directors and executive producers of the concert, while renowned producer Adam Blackstone will serve as musical director. Bocelli, after all, has a long history of spiritual performances, having twice sung for Pope Francis in 2015 and, more recently, for newly elected Pope Leo XIV last summer. Pharrell, on the other hand, bridges different musical worlds, bringing pop, gospel and his art as a producer to the Vatican stage. This collaboration thus reaches a wider audience and conveys the event’s message of love, fraternity and unity.
Global lineup: from Karol G to John Legend
Colombian superstar Karol G would bring to the Vatican stage his emotive song “Milagros,” a piece that connects deeply with resilience and hope. Another possibility is the duet of “Vivo per Lei” with Maestro Andrea Bocelli, which was recorded and included in Duets, the album celebrating the Italian singer’s 30-year career. In addition, the Italian tenor could move the audience with “The Prayer” along with the powerful voice of Jennifer Hudson, another R&B and gospel icon who performed during Pope Francis’ visit to the United States.
The American artists add further strength to the evening. John Legend’s repertoire includes soulful anthems such as “All of Me” and “Church,” which speak of love and shared humanity, while Pharrell and the Voices of Fire will bring energy with songs such as “JOY (Unspeakable)” and “Miracle Worker”(Voices of Fire’s new abum, OPHANIM, was released today). Teddy Swims might also surprise with his hit “Lose Control.”
On the opposite front, BamBam will bring a touch of K-Pop to the evening, with possible tracks on the set list such as “Last Parade” and “riBBon.” Beninese-French singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo, on the other hand, could ignite the stage with songs like “Agolo” and “We Are One,” anthems that blend African rhythms with powerful messages of unity and justice for all.
