Missed the first date with the Capital’s coolest Christmas? Don’t panic. If the bridge of Immaculate Conception has eluded you between commitments, you still have a golden opportunity to catch up. Giftland, the Gift City, is indeed preparing for its grand finale.
After the success of the first weekend, the former ATAC depot in the Sao Paulo District reopens its doors for the second and final event on December 13 and 14, 2025. This is the last chance to immerse yourself in the 6,000 square meters transformed into the realm of the holidays, where the stress of the “gift rush” is banished to make way for mulled wine, creativity and smiles.
An unmissable event tagged Vintage Market Roma.
Behind this perfect organizational machine are, as always, Angela and Martina, the minds behind Vintage Market Roma. Born in 2008 with the aim of giving space to young talents, today their project has turned into VGMT: not just a market, but a true European-wide experience.
Giftland is the synthesis of their philosophy: supporting local creativity, “handmade” and quality materials.
If you are looking for a Christmas gift that has a story and a soul, away from mass production, this is the place for you (and your wallet, since admission is free).

What you’ll find at the Sao Paulo District: vintage, crafts and design
Forget the usual crowded malls. Two hundred exhibitors from all over Italy await you at Giftland, carefully selected to offer you only the best of the indie and craft scene.
The corridors of the former warehouse will be filled with:
- Vintage: a huge selection of iconic and alternative garments for a sustainable look.
- Crafts and Home Decor: illustrations, ceramics, wreaths, neon and unique Christmas decorations.
- Gift Ideas: vinyls, books, organic cosmetics, plants and flowers.
- Gourmet: handcrafted panettone and Christmas sweets for the sweet tooth.
And in between purchases? TheFood & Beverage Area is ready to pamper you from breakfast to aperitif. Thanks to the collaboration with FAD Centocelle family bistro and Agency Food, you can enjoy excellent dishes or warm up with hot chocolates and the inevitable mulled wine, the true fuel of Christmas shopping.
The weekend program: workshops and appointments to mark down
Giftland’s strong point is not just the shopping, but the doing. The December 13 and 14 program is packed with workshops and laboratories to create special gifts with your own hands. Here’s what you can’t miss:
Saturday, Dec. 13: creativity and books
If you love to personalize your gifts, Saturday is your day. It starts at 10:30 a.m. with the Upcycling Workshop to turn a vintage tie into a glasses case (cost €15) and the Christmas Candle Workshop to create unique scents (cost €25).
In the afternoon, space for Quilling (creation of 3D magnets, 12€), Christmas Terrarium (45€) and decorating ceramic mugs.
Don’t miss Simona Ferrara ‘s booth with “Make Your Own Gifts,” an ironic and relaxing pottery workshop, perfect for those who want to escape Christmas anxiety.
Space will also be given to reading with the presentation of the book “The Beautiful Things in Life” by Margherita Ferracuti, an illustrated work celebrating the beauty of being human.
Sunday, Dec. 14: letterpress and bee magic.
Sunday will be repeated with equally evocative activities. At 10:30 a.m. you can try your hand at Letterpress to print vintage postcards (€20) or create lanterns with dried petals (€10). In the afternoon, discover the “Magic of Bees” with beeswax decorations (8€) or decorate your own sacred ceramic heart (20€).
To participate in the workshops, please check the official VGMT website to reserve your place.
Giftland Kids: heaven for kids (and salvation for parents)
Giftland is definitely family friendly. For the little ones, an entire Kids Area has been set up with free activities designed to stimulate the imagination while the grown-ups shop.
Santa Claus will be there for photos and smiles, but the real fun is the workshops:
- Christmas Decorations: Saturday and Sunday mornings (10:30 a.m.) to create decorations with natural materials.
- The Magic Chimney: a creative recycling workshop (12 noon) to find out how Santa Claus comes through the chimney.
- Art and Recycling: in the afternoon, workshops inspired by Pop Art and green greeting cards.
All children’s workshops are free, one more reason to spend the whole day with the family.
