Next Wednesday, Dec. 10, will not be an evening like any other :Prince Francesco De Gregori returns to his native Rome to celebrate half a century of “Rimmel.”
The location chosen for this big party is the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome(Piazzale Pier Luigi Nervi, 1).
After touring Italy far and wide, De Gregori decided to give his fans an exclusive stop. Rome is one of only two cities (the other is Milan) to host the “Rimmel 2025” tour in the grandeur of a palasport.
On December 10, the appointment is with music history at EUR

Next Wednesday will be the perfect opportunity to hear the voice of “Prince” fill the arena and vibrate along with thousands of other fans.
On stage you will see not only the singer-songwriter, but a real “music machine.” Accompanying Francesco will be a crazy band that you know well if you follow his live shows:
- Primiano Di Biase (hammond, keyboards and accordion)
- Guido Guglielminetti (on bass, a guarantee)
- Carlo Gaudiello (piano)
- Paolo Giovenchi and Alessandro Valle (guitars, mandolin and pedal steel for that unmistakable folk touch)
- Simone Talone (drums)
- The incredible voices of Francesca La Colla and Cristina Greco on backing vocals.
A unique opportunity to relive 1975: the album played in its entirety
The real magic of this De Gregori tour is that you will hear the album “Rimmel” performed in its entirety.
Yes, you got that right. Every single track from that 1975 album will be played live. It’s a way to rediscover not only the hits, but also those hidden gems that make the album a milestone.
And if you’re a collector, watch out for the merch: a special anniversary reissue of Rimmel is out (colored vinyl, high-definition remastering, and even the cassette tape!).
A treat? For the first time, the vinyl includes lyrics: perfect for brushing up before the live show.
Also, if you love cinema, keep an eye out for the release of the docufilm “Francesco De Gregori. Nevergreen,” a never-before-seen account of the artist that is already making waves after its premiere in Venice.

Won’t you be in Rome on December 10? Here are the alternatives
If by chance you can’t get free for the date at the Palazzo dello Sport, don’t despair. The “Rimmel 2025” tour still has several cartridges to fire.
The schedule is divided into three different experiences:
- Palasport: if you are in Milan, the date is tomorrow, Dec. 6 at the Unipol Forum.
- Theaters: more intimate atmosphere in Legnano (12/12) and Assisi (14/12).
