On Sunday, November 23, Rome is preparing to light up with the first edition of the Christmas Parade, the Christmas parade entirely dedicated to raising funds for the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital.
What will you see during the parade?
Many performers, including Elves, acrobats, Santa Claus and the Befana, will animate the historic center in an exciting open-air route, transforming Rome into the stage of solidarity.
The event is inspired by large international charity flash mobs and aims to become Europe’s biggest Christmas event to help children.
📍 Sunday’s route
Want to join the party? The parade will touch the most striking places in the capital with dedicated performances and stops:
- Departure: Piazza del Popolo at 3 p.m.
- First Stop: Largo Goldoni (with artistic performances)
- Passage on Via Condotti
- Clou Stage: Piazza di Spagna (with live music and Italian artists)
- Return to Via del Babuino
- Closing: Return to Piazza del Popolo with a live connection to Domenica In
During the parade, you can do your part! Look for the solidarity stations of the Bambino Gesù Onlus Association and, with a minimum donation of 5 euros, receive the official red hat of the Christmas Parade. Donations will be possible until January 11, inside Christmas World, or at donation points downtown, such as in Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo. The goal? To purchase new and vital health equipment for the care of children with complex medical conditions.
A shared gesture to light up the city and bring hope: Not just a donation is asked, but presence, the choice to walk together to make visible a common commitment.
Experience a Christmas atmosphere with the musical train created thanks to 80 artists from Christmas World to inaugurate the procession. Along the route there will be performances designed for context, encounters with Christmas characters and musical moments. 10,000 children are expected to participate.
