Action, the well-known non-food discount chain, continues its rapid expansion in Italy, celebrating the opening of its first store in Pomezia, in the province of Rome.
This opening marks the group’s 11th store in the Roman province and 22nd in Lazio, bringing the national total to an impressive 203 stores. The opening in Pomezia is the 72nd new store Action has opened in Italy this year alone.
The 1st Action store in Pomezia

Residents of Pomezia and surrounding areas can now take advantage of the famous “Action Formula“: a wide range of 6,000 products divided into 14 merchandise categories, ranging from toys and household items to gardening, DIY and groceries, all offered at the lowest possible price.
The hallmark of Action is its extreme convenience: more than two-thirds of the entire assortment costs less than 2 euros. In addition, every week the assortment is renewed with the introduction of 150 new items.
Philippe Levisse, general manager of Action Italia, expressed great satisfaction,“We are thrilled to open our first store in Pomezia. The warm welcome given to us by Italian customers in almost four years of operation motivates us to make Formula Action more and more accessible. Our success is based on the commitment and dedication of our teams, and we thank everyone who has contributed to this achievement.”
